Kubuntu changed to automatic login after unattended upgrades

Hi,

Kubuntu 23.10

yesterday morning 2024-04-09 around 07 AM CET a set of unattended upgrades were installed. From the log it looks like kernel upgrade.
After that KDE started to auto logon. This is very weird and worrying, . I have never configured the system for auto log on. And yet there it is configured under settings Login Screen (SDDM),

Anyone else got this? I fear my system is compromised?

Ubuntu 22.04 with Gnome desktop.

My login is been malfunctioning since an 'upgrade' on 1 April (was it a joke??) and this morning it auto-logged-in although I never set this up.
