Re: Boot stops in grub command line

Sound to much like hardware error, and you will not be able to fix it from Ubuntu
Have you tried resetting the Cmos jumpers yet?
Outside of that I've got nothing to offer you. Good Luck
Also your link did not work for me.

HAOS is not Ubuntu, or an Ubuntu flavour, nor, as far as I can make out, based on Ubuntu or Debian.

    Suggested repair: ______________________________________________________________

The default repair of the Boot-Repair utility would reinstall the grub-efi of
    sda3,
using the following options: kernel-purge sda1/boot/efi
Additional repair would be performed: unhide-bootmenu-10s use-standard-efi-file

Please do not forget to make your UEFI firmware boot on the Home Assistant OS 11.0 entry (sda1/efi/****/grub****.efi (**** will be updated in the final message) file) !

Re: Boot stops in grub command line

    Here's one solution I found
    Code:
How to fix it Here are a few ways to resolve the error:

    • Disable Secure Boot: If Secure Boot is enabled on our system, we may have to disable it temporarily to allow Boot Repair to make changes.
    • Enter BIOS/UEFI Settings: Additionally, we have to access our computer’s BIOS or UEFI settings and check if there’s a password set. If yes, we can temporarily remove it to allow Boot Repair to make changes.
    • Reset NVRAM: Furthermore. some systems allow us to reset the NVRAM settings to their defaults. This helps if the NVRAM data is corrupted.

Locked NVRAM does not seem to have one answer. Varies by vendor & some users seem fix randomly just by changing settings.
