    Screensaver

    When i select a new screensaver it locks the pc up and i have to reboot any ideas please?

    You likely do not have a proper driver installed to run the screensavers. What kind of graphics card do you have?
    AMD FX-8120. 8GB DDR3 1866. Ubuntu 12.04 64bit

    Computing is fun again.

    i am useing 10.10, some of the screensavers work. Graphics are AGP integrated on Asus motherboard

    I know that certian screensavers are graphics intensive. I had this problem alot when I still used a desktop. May I ask your system specs?
    Sopy Vaio Laptop: Dual Core Intel Processor, 2GB ram, 160GB hard drive + Lucid Lynx = one heck of a system.
