Haven't heard that version, love the Bob Dylan original and the Hendrix version...

Have you seen Battlestar Galactica? It is the version that is used in the series and becomes a key part of the plot toward the end.

It is somewhat trippy, but pretty good. The Hendrix rendition of it is excellent though.
