issue in ardour

dear friends im new to this forum and stuff

i tried to play my mp3 in great clarity with equalisers ( sonique in ms is best for me ) but i played with rythembox NO EQUALISER i searched the web and found a new ardour but it says some error FYI (screen shots added)I have a Yamaha sound card and Sony 2.1 pls help me anybody. !!!!!!!!

Ardour uses Jack to playback audio, which means you have to download and install Jack and then run it before starting Ardour.

However, Ardour is overkill for playing back music. It's full on multi-track audio recording/editing software. I would try either Banshee or Clementine, since they both have equalisers and are designed for playing music. Amarok probably has one too if you want to try it.
