I don't know if I have the capacitance to take much more of this.
Man...everybody is on their game..
Volts, amps, ohm, watts; this is just our output.
And I remain with the old gnome2 :)
I thought that was a pretty tricky reply :)
Congratulations on your new title :)
Cast a volt or an amp.

A bit late, but I did find three meta-packs.

http://packages.ubuntu.com/xenial/games-arcade
http://packages.ubuntu.com/xenial/games-board
A meta-pack of lightweight games. That sounds like a worthy venture. Maybe even turn it into a PPA.
I would be willing to assist in such a project.
Anyone else game :P
A game meta-pack. I like the idea, but someone needs to build it.
What about using synaptic package manager? A search gave me 661 hits and fairly easy to load from there.

Here's a thought..
Those old boxes usually have monster power supplies capable of putting out several amps of 12v power. A battery charger? Enough power for a camper? You get the idea :)
Yes, it would seem no longer any problem. Thanks for the input.

Also updating is just half of the process. This need to be followed with and...
How did you install this? I am willing to give it a try and see if it something in the program.
Thats why I mention Conky-manager. This gui is point and click and a excellent basic place to start with conky. You will have to install the PPA.
As far as I know, this can't be done with the system monitor.
Have you considered using Conky? Conky can be used to display just about anything, from disk usage to the weather. Conky-manager...
Go to your file system and look at /var/log/apt/term.log for any errors. No need to read the whole log (they are a mile long), scroll to the bottom and check todays events for clues.
To be honest...
Try reinstalling update-manager.
sudo apt-get install --reinstall update-manager
No this is not typical.
Run another update in terminal and look for errors.
No, inxi is correct. Just use the command in post #12. It outputs the same information.
